Worth Watching for SO Many Reasons
There's been a lot of debate about the landmark No Child Left Behind Act in a number of different circles. But as far as creativity is concerned, this takes the cake.
Ethan and I have watched this video at least once a week for the past couple of months since its come out. Apparently, the American Federation of Teachers spent (hundreds of?) thousands of dollars out of their marketing budget to put this video together.
A number of things stand out about this video to us... some unintentionally funny, some thought-provoking, some downright strange and borderline unbelievable. But we'll wait to hear what you think before we share some of our thoughts! Post a comment with your first thoughts.

So wait, let me get this straight? The teacher's union isn't happy because they have to demonstrate real progress with their students? Shocking...
In reality, of course, more (full?) funding is very important to make NLCB work, and perhaps some adjustments to what we're testing may be in order. But the general idea of NCLB, I think, is a good one. Why shouldn't all students everywhere need to achieve the same level of excellence in the classroom?
As a secondary point, who exactly were they trying to get at with this movie? This website is probably reaches the youngest demographic involved in school policy, and I think the youngest member of OE graduated from movies like that 10 years ago...
